As a physician for Pain Consultants of Atlanta’s at Piedmont Hospital and Piedmont Fayette Hospital, Dr. Duralde practices a comprehensive approach to treating pain. He has extensive experience treating conditions of the spine, including chronic neck and back pain. Dr. Duralde enjoys treating all types of pain and has a special interest in cancer pain and advanced interventional treatment for degenerative spine conditions. Dr. Rod Duralde is a native of Atlanta. He grew up in East Point and attended Woodward Academy. He elected to pursue his undergraduate degree at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Upon graduation from Duke, Dr. Duralde was accepted to the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences to study medicine. He graduated and completed an internship in General Surgery at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga Tennessee. Dr. Duralde completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. He served in the United States Air Force for 12 years before entering private practice. Dr. Duralde is Board Certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, and International Spine Intervention Society. Dr. Duralde serves as the Medical Director for Pain Consultants of Atlanta, LLC. He currently continues to accept new patients into his practice.
Dr. Gandhi is a Board Certified Pain Management Specialist. As a physician for Pain Consultants of Atlanta’s at Piedmont Fayette Hospital, Dr. Gandhi practices a comprehensive approach to treating pain. Dr. Gandhi has extensive experience treating conditions of the spine, including chronic neck and back pain. He enjoys treating all types of pain and has a special interest in cancer pain. Dr. Gandhi was raised in Alabama and attended undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and medical school at The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Upon graduation, Dr. Gandhi completed his internship at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham and his residency in Anesthesia at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. In order to enhance his level of training in Pain Management, Dr. Gandhi completed a specialized Pain Management fellowship at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Prior to joining Pain Consultants of Atlanta and the staff of Piedmont Fayette Hospital, Dr. Gandhi developed and directed the pain clinic at Henry Medical Center in Stockbridge, Georgia. He is currently the lead physician at our Piedmont Fayette Hospital clinic and is accepting new patients.
As a physician for Pain Consultants of Atlanta’s at Piedmont Hospital, Dr. Achilles practices a comprehensive and multimodal approach to treating pain. He has experience treating a variety of conditions, including chronic neck and back pain. Dr. Achilles has a special interest in interventional and medical management of cancer pain. Dr. Achilles grew up in Lynchburg, Virginia. He attended Heritage High School and the Central Virginia Governor’s School for Science and Technology. He graduated summa cum laude from Wake Forest University and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. After graduation he elected to attend the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. He completed his Internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia, Roanoke-Salem Program in Roanoke, Virginia. Dr. Achilles then moved to Atlanta where he completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Emory University. Following his residency, Dr. Achilles completed a specialized fellowship in Pain Medicine at Emory University. Dr. Achilles is a board certified diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Achilles also has a subspecialty board certification in Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia. In addition, Dr. Achilles is a member of the Georgia Society of Anesthesiologists, American Medical Association, and International Spine Intervention Society. He is currently accepting new patients into his practice.
As a physician for Pain Consultants of Atlanta, Dr. Vick practices a comprehensive and individualized approach to treating chronic pain. She has extensive experience treating conditions of the spine including chronic neck and back pain. Dr. Vick enjoys treating all types of pain and has a special interest in cancer pain and advanced interventional therapies for degenerative spine disease. Dr. Vick’s family is from Middlesex, North Carolina. Her father, who was in the Air Force, retired in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she spent her formative years. She earned a degree in history from Duke University. She pursued her degree in medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. After graduation, she completed a General Surgery Internship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Vick completed her residency in Anesthesiology at the Medical University of South Carolina. She received specialized training in pain medicine during her Pain Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic Jacksonville. Upon completion of her pain fellowship, she joined the faculty at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill where she practiced fulltime pain medicine for 6 years. She received several outstanding teaching awards from the Department of Anesthesiology and the University of North Carolina - College of Medicine. Dr. Vick served as the Director of the Pain Fellowship and Director of Acute Pain Management while on faculty. She remains active with teaching and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. Dr. Vick is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. She also has subspecialty board certification in Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. She is an active member of American Society of Anesthesiology, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, National Medical Association, and the International Spinal Injection Society. She is currently accepting new patients. |
